Once a straight-to-outlet silhouette, the highly divisive Jordan Spizike returned in official imagery over the past few months signaling a revitalization on the horizon. In the midst of preparing a low-top iteration for 2024, the Tinker Hatfield design is simultaneously set to kick off the new year with a premium homage to the Year of the Dragon.

Joining the recently revealed Dunk Low LX and the Air Jordan 1 Low OG, the Jordan Spizike Low now becomes the latest silhouette to join the Chinese New Year festivities. Embarking upon an eerily similar color palette, the hybrid silhouette rests upon a crisp white background that consumes a dominant majority of the upper real estate. Olive-treated mudguards at the toe and heel are energized by a dragon scale texture while ever-so-faint blue hues envelop the quarter tabs and the mid-foot window. What’s more, the Air Jordan 4-inspired wings and the AJ 6’s tongue construction are draped in a persistent dark burgundy and “Team Red” treatment that ensues along the tread underfoot.

The Jordan Spizike Low “Year of the Dragon” is expected to release next January. In the meantime, the pair can be seen ahead in first-look imagery.

In other news from underneath the Jumpman banner, the Jordan 11 “Neapolitan” releases on November 11th.
