Kasina Helps Converse Usher In The Return Of The Weapon

For their collaborative pair, the Korean retailer draws inspiration from the hand-drawn plans and construction of their first-ever store.

Kasina Helps Converse Usher In The Return Of The Weapon

Kasina needs absolutely no introduction, as they’re responsible for producing one of the best collaborative Dunks of 2020. And given this success with the Swoosh — and their subsequent Air Max 1s — it’s no surprise that Converse, too, would enlist some help from the Korean retailer.

Helping usher in the return of one of the most iconic sneakers in Converse history, Kasina uses the Weapon as a means to tell their personal story — or, to be more specific, that of their first-ever store location. The design, with its various sketches and markings, is a direct homage to the hand-drawn plans and construction of the retailer’s inaugural flagship. In effect, the collaboration is not only a celebration of creativity and artful expression but also the confidence required to believe in your own ideas.

Enjoy a closer, official look at the Kasina x Converse Weapon ahead. The pair is slated to hit Nike SNKRS on November 16th for a retail of $140 USD.

In unrelated news, Midnight Navy 13s are slated for Fall 2024.
