The Nike Air Max 1 “Easter” Drops On Good Friday

Updated March 28th, 2024: The Nike Air Max 1 “Easter” is set to release on Good Friday (March 29th, 2024) for $160.

WHERE TO BUY

Nearly a full year removed from its 35th anniversary, the Nike Air Max 1 is riding the success of its Big Bubble resurgence for a drove of both original and contemporary efforts featuring the silhouettes circa 1987 tooling. However, the model’s less avant-garde construction remains rooted in the brand’s seasonal roster. As we continue to peer further into the Spring 2024 section of the Beaverton brand’s release calendar, a striking multi-color effort has surfaced atop the iconic Tinker Hatfield design.

Embarking upon a typical approach through the use of a crisp white mesh base layer, the silhouette’s surrounding embellishments are anything but simplistic. Just atop the blank canvas, a cracked “Sail” tinted suede consumes the heel counter and quarter overlay while a contrasting “Anthracite” infused mudguard brings about a seldom amount of pitch-dark treatments. Elsewhere, the profile swoosh is stamped with a “Light Soft Green” suede texture while vibrant marigold accents bring a gradient along the heel’s Nike Air branding. What’s more, the rope laces, tongue and inner lining are finished by way of a “Vapor Pink” execution before the aforementioned palette is executed in full along the multi-color tread underfoot.

The Nike Air Max 1 “Light Soft Green/Vapor Pink” is currently expected to release in the Spring of 2024. As we await further release details, the pair can be seen ahead in detailed imagery.

In other news, the adidas Yeezy 500 “Cream/Gum” is reportedly set to release sometime in 2024.
