“High Voltage” Shocks The Women’s Nike P-6000 “Anthracite”

Doubling down on its running inspiration.

“High Voltage” Shocks The Women’s Nike P-6000 “Anthracite”

The retro-inspired Nike P-6000 is enjoying its moment in the spotlight, employing a wide range of ensembles throughout the year.

As winter all but cements itself across the East Coast, the silhouette has reappeared in an “Anthracite/Black/High Voltage” color scheme. The arrangement isn’t too far removed from other outfits that’ve graced the Nike Pegasus-hybrid design. Akin to other offerings to surface during this time of year, the faux-runner features a technical speed-lacing system that also brings a reflective touch to the pair. Synthetic panels running from the tip of the toe along the profiles also opt for a silver finish, evoking a sense of futurism and speed to the retro design.

Underfoot, the P-6000 boasts a cushioning and traction solution similar to the ever-popular Zoom Vomero 5. Marquee Cushlon and Duralon materials aren’t used on the lifestyle option, however. Still, the sole unit offers a neutral ride that’s left understated on the latest exclusive for women. All together, each aforementioned detail helps the Swoosh further participate in the unshakable “Y2K” trend that’s taken over sneakers in the last two years.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, as you wait for a stateside nike.com launch. The “Anthracite/High Voltage” P-6000 is priced at $120 USD.

For modern day, performance running shoes, check out the Alphafly 3, Nike’s best marathon running shoe ever.
