For nearly 10 years the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 sat in the brand’s archives. Returning last year to fully capitalize on the sneaker ecosystem’s obsession with classic breathable runners, the silhouettes circa 2010 design language has found far-reaching success with well over a dozen styles amplifying the comfortable tooling. Amidst the transition from fall to winter, one such shade has found a recurring comfortability with the low-top trim.
Exercising the silhouette’s third time utilizing a tonal military green palette, the upper’s mesh, leather and TPU components harmoniously craft a layered monochrome palette. Filling the TPU detailing at the mid-foot and heel with a dark “Neutral Olive”, the upper’s remaining real estate weaves slightly varying color matches throughout. Complemented by a contrasting jet-black profile swoosh, the Zoom-infused midsole and branded tongue tabs conclude the pair underfoot with a barely grey finish.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Neutral Olive” is set to release in the spring of 2024 for a retail price of $160 USD. In the meantime, the pair can be seen ahead in official images.
In other news, the Jordan 11 “Gratitude” releases this Saturday, December 9th.
