Championing the highlights of the Zoom Vomero 5 with the early-aughts of their running catalog, Nike’s V2K Run continues to broaden its inaugural slate of compositions, such as this recently revealed greyscale ensemble.
Achieving a near-blank canvas, the mesh-dominant real estate favors a “Metallic Platinum” base layer that’s offset by a persistent amount of “Light Iron Ore” – which ensues across the nubuck quarter, mudguard and the vamp’s suede piping. Diverting from the tonal treatment, a set of crisp white laces illuminate the tongue before a dark shade of “Smoke Grey” is introduced to the lace loops, uppermost eyestay and the heel collar. Elsewhere, the “Light Bone” cured Cushlon midsole and the semi-translucent plastic mid-foot caging complement the concentrated palette above while a pastel blue hue interjects along the tread, inner lining, tongue tab and the mid-foot shank.
The women’s exclusive Nike V2K Run “Light Bone” is currently available overseas in Japan. While we await news regarding a stateside release, the pair can be seen ahead in detailed imagery.
In other news from the Beaverton brand, the Jordan 9 “Powder Blue” is scheduled to release on March 23rd, 2024.
