An Air Jordan 13 “Chutney” Retro Lands For 2024/25

Updated April 15th, 2024: Initially reported for a Holiday 2024 release, the Air Jordan 13 “Chutney” has been removed from the release calendar per @zsneakerheadz. We’ll provide the new release date as soon as it emerges.

The Air Jordan 13 “Chutney” is the latest Jordan Brand retro to be rumored for a Holiday 2024 launch.

The news has been shared by notable duo of sneaker-related leaks, @zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files, and follows an unconfirmed announcement that the Air Jordan 11 “Columbia” returns by the end of the new year. The “Chutney” style hasn’t been as celebrated as the “Columbia Blue” retro, but will surely serve as a special treat for a sizable audience if it does drop.

While the color scheme isn’t entirely new to Michael Jordan’s thirteenth signature model, “Chutney” has only appeared on the Air Jordan 13 Low. One of six original colorways of the AJXIII series, the style delivers an unquestionable lifestyle-oriented take on a basketball shoe. No Chicago Bulls-friendly hues emerge as part of the “Chutney” ensemble; instead, a fall-appropriate orange and “Black” duo takes over everything from the upper’s dimpled panels to the mixed materials mudguards. The sneaker’s mid-top version is expected to follow suit, although changes to details on the tongue, inner-lining, and spine could appear on the non-original makeover. Underfoot, the black panther paw-inspired sole unit stays on theme, rounding out the teased release.

Neither retailer nor official Nike photos of the rumored pair have surfaced as of yet, but that’s likely to change by mid-Summer 2024. If the “Chutney” Jordan 13 launches, it’ll arrive to Nike SNKRS between September and December for $200 USD. Full-family sizing may be available.
