Original article published Jan 25, 2024: Where you view the Spiz’ike as a proper homage to Air Jordan history or a blasphemous gesture of mimicry, the Jordan Spiz’ike is here to stay. Nearly two decades after its initial debut, the Spike Lee-inspired hybrid introduced its first-ever Low-top model, and several more are due out the rest of the year.

The Jordan Spiz’ike Low, revealed in a variety of colorways back in September, is revealed via official images in the “Sail/University Red” colorway. Adhering to a lifestyle-friendly assortment of hues, the off-white is matched with a soft grey on the interior lining and the elephant print, while the creamy coconut milk accents the upper on the plastic wings and shortened tongue. This leaves much to be desired in that this colorway would translate well onto any of the chief Air Jordan models, but the Spiz’ike Low will do for now.

Adult as well as full family sizing (GS, PS, TD) will be available on Nike.com this April.
