Sneaker News The Nike AL8 is a brand-new women’s lifestyle sneaker that debuted in early 2024. The design is meant to capture that nostalgia-meets-modern aesthetic seen in similar models such as the Zoom Vomero 5 by Nike as well as competing models such as the ASICS GEL-1130. MSRP is $90 and is currently available in select colors (see the full list below).

The AL8 clearly champions that tech-runner vibe, but with a slimmed down upper and a refined midsole that works in tandem with the sleek and slender build. The upper is ample with suede, with random overlays achieving that 2000s-running visibility that has run rampant in the casual sneaker department.
A wide assortment of colorways are coming this Spring/Summer, including this “Sanddrift” version. MSRP is set at $90 — a fair number given the lack of apparent tech or cushioning platforms.
