With the global launch of Devin Booker’s Nike Book 1 signature shoe just days away, Nike has officially premiered its official spot for the newest member of the signature shoe family.

Featuring Devin Booker and a star-studded roster of Nike athletes and icons, this spot starts off with a live reading of “Book 1” by legendary Nike footwear designer Wilson Smith. The Suns star immediately thanks his parents for instilling in him the confidence an determination to excel at the highest level, with both making cameos for their son’s big moment. Furthermore, Nike Basketball athletes Kevin Durant, Diana Taurasi, and Shawn Marion are joined by Lil’ Penny and Lil’ Dez, who help narrate the prologue of Book 1.

The Nike Book 1 first launched in super-limited quantity back in December during Art Basel in Miami; each pair was individually numbered to 500, with the current grey-market value around $1,500-2,000 per pair. The “Mirage” colorway will serve as the first officially recognized global release, allowing the masses to hoop in Devin’s shoe for the first time. The beige-colored Book 1 will be available on SNKRS and select Nike Basketball retailers beginning on February 17th with an MSRP of $140; future releases include the “Ashen Slate” which will be announced shortly after the first drop.
