Nike continues to target the women’s demographic with their Shox strategy as the category’s early 2000s running models continue to be revealed in women’s exclusive sizing. Next up is the Shox R4, which most recently dropped back in October overseas in white/silver, but was notoriously reworked by Martine Rose into a mule with elevated Shox columns to emulated a pair of heels.
This new-age running shoe appears yet again bearing a simple white/silver combination, but soft shades of light purple grace the outsole, the Shox cushion columns, and the interior lining. This combination of gentle shades all but confirms that these are a women’s release, with late Spring/early Summer like the arrival period.
It hasn’t been since Summer of 2020 that the Nike Shox R4 was made available in men’s sizing, so hopefully the emergence of this pair is a sign that Nike plans to pump the production moving forward.
In other early-2000s era running, here’s a look at the latest Air Max Plus 3.
