The nocturnal pair is dedicated to Booker’s Cane Corso, and as such comes with shaggy fur accents throughout the silhouette. Say what you will about Devin Booker’s Nike Book 1 signature shoe, but the sneaker is undeniably his. A refined aesthetic with an homage to decades past, the Book 1 mirrors the shooting guard’s off-mainstream personal taste off the court, from his love of art to low-riders, all encompassing a tribute to the desert he calls home.
The next Book 1 release to be revealed is the “Haven”, perhaps the most premium, off-the-court ready pair year. It’s got that sharp all-black upper with a metallic red bronze accent on the Swoosh border, lace eyelet, and BOOK logo on the tongue. As it turns out, this upcoming release is a tribute to Book’s best friend – his 135-pound Cane Corso dog. Keeping it true to hoops, Nike finishes off this colorway with an iced out translucent sole.
