With the Nike GT Cut 3 and its predecessors, Oregon execs have found a true in-line basketball hit. Despite not carrying an athlete’s name, the silhouette has still managed to perform well both commercially and on the court, shedding light on how great performance and design is really all that’s required. As we look towards Easter, the Nike Zoom GT Cut 3 is dressing up in kind, carrying a vibrant combo of “Barely Volt,” “Glacier Blue,” and “Medium Soft Pink” ahead of the upcoming holiday.

The former two trademark shades have dotted dozens of Nike releases in recent memory, making their appearance here not all too surprising. However, it does end up as a fortuitous bit of brand synergy, as the three pastels at work here are near synonymous with the upcoming Easter season. It’s a color palette all too familiar around this time of year, exemplified by past classics like the Air Force 1 Low “Easter”; the only detail missing is the cracked Easter eggs on the insoles.

The Nike Zoom GT Cut 3 “Easter” is expected to release this summer around the holiday, retailing for $190.

In more Swoosh basketball news, the Nike Book 1 “Haven” is set for release on April 6th.
