LaMelo Ball’s PUMA MB.03 Shines In “Iridescent”

Rainbow accents elevate an all-white colorway.

LaMelo Ball’s PUMA MB.03 Shines In “Iridescent”

Though the Charlotte Hornets’ season this year has been one to forget overall, LaMelo Ball still stands as one of the brightest stars the league has to offer all the same. That descriptor is especially fitting today, with the announcement of the next edition of his signature PUMA MB.03, the upcoming “Iridescent” edition.

Flashiness follows everywhere LaMelo Ball goes, be it his highly-publicized car collection or dazzling passes on the floor. On this pair, that theme may not translate at first glance- after all, the foundation is relatively standard, a white-on-white arrangment that dresses the model from head to toe.

However, pops of pink and blue dance in the details in between, most prominently as a marbled pattern on the textile upper. Centered on the tongue is the true thematic tie: LaMelo’s winged logo and related “No. 1” branding presented as reflective, pearlescent graphics. While the shared palette throughout the shoe may understate its unorthodox structure more than on past releases, the titular “Iridescent” hits ensure this release is anything but conservative.

The PUMA MB.03 “Iridescent” is set to drop March 29th for $125. You can find a full gallery of images just ahead.

Elsewhere in the world of basketball shoes, the Nike LeBron 21 “Cool Grey” eyes release next month.
