The most coveted and most famous allusion to his hometown remains the Nike Kobe 4 “Philly,” last released in 2009. Though images had surfaced before, JD Sports is providing the closest look yet for the upcoming re-release. With that in mind, though the stars on the collar certainly call to mind Iverson-era jerseys, they’re more directly connected to the logo of that high-octane exhibition.
