Tumbled leather and a molded heel bring new energy.

Luxe Details Revamp The Classic Nike Terminator High

The Nike catalog is chock full of influential retro silhouettes, but the Nike Terminator is a perfect example of the old-school style that the sneaker giant got its start with. Continuing to showcase its storied history, the newest Nike Terminator High relies on a classic configuration of white and green while rebuilding parts of its construction.

As a 1980s model, standard Terminator releases arrive with relatively simplistic hardware, namely a no-frills leather upper. That’s largely still the case, but this pair makes some important changes. The Swoosh here is clad in tumbled leather, and a molded heel cup swaps the printed Nike Logo for a debossed version. The addition of those considered details results in a far more premium atmosphere than on previously released pairs.

As far as the palette at work, the combination of white and “Malachite” still bears fruit, while “Coconut Milk” underfoot and raspberry stitching on the midsole adds important contrast to the classic colorway.

The Nike Terminator High “White/Malachite” is expected to roll out to Nike.com and select retailers in the coming weeks. Expect a $125 retail price when it arrives.

Along similar retro lines, the Bode Nike Astro Grabber were unvieled ahead of an expected FW24 release.
