While basketball and running remain the two guiding lights for Nike athletics, it’s hard to deny the space the company has carved out in America’s rounds of 18. Modifying plenty of their most popular silhouettes for golf use, the Nike Air Pegasus ’89 is among the most recent additions to that canon. In the next colorway for the retooled model, the Nike Air Pegasus ’89 Golf drapes in a classic palette of white, grey and “Malachite” green.

The blocky upper design remains, a welcome sight for those who have become accustomed to the model in its renewed mainline run. As with all of the Nike models that get re-tooled for the green, the main addition to the Nike Air Pegasus 89 silhouette is a cleated bottom, a wet rubber traction system in this particular case.

In terms of its palette, this edition relies on one of the most classic combinations Nike’s history, a metered melding between white and green. “Malachite” drapes the eye stays and outsole, as well as hitting shaggy suede on the heel counter, mudguard and profile Swoosh. Factoring in the gray suede overlays and underlying pure white, the silhouette imbues a distinct Nike Air Max 1 energy in this look, adding some extra classic punch to the upcoming pair.

The Nike Air Pegasus 89 Golf “Malachite/White” will carry a $120 retail price, likely arrive as we head into Nike’s Spring/Summer slate. Enjoy official images just ahead.

Elsewhere for the Swoosh, the Nike Zoom Freak 5 “Welcome To Camp” slides in alongside new themed pairs of the Nike Ja 1 and Nike LeBron 21.
