The Nike ACG Air Exploraid Continues Its Comeback In “Hyper Royal/Laser Orange”

Nike ACG is a beacon for those who champion retro 90s design, and its 2024 catalog fits the bill. Last year’s SNKRS Showcase announced the return of several long-archived models, one being the trail-ready Nike ACG Air Exploraid.

Simple “Ash Green” and “Sail” colorways marked the shoe’s comeback earlier this year, but the ACG design team now appears set to embrace a more eccentric color variety. The Exploraid’s next makeup features a balanced mix of “Hyper Royal”, “Laser Orange”, and tan, with “Safety Orange” accents making brief cameos on the heel, tongue, and upper eyestay.

Black treatments on the quarter, inner lining, and sole keep the design somewhat time, but the shoe clearly speaks to the ACG banner’s ties to vibrant 90s design language. There’s lots happening when it comes to the build of the Exploraid itself, but its most notable hallmarks are its multi-layered construction and neoprene bootie, two elements that serve the shoe’s “All Conditions Gear” claim.

No official release date has been set at the time of this writing, but all indications point towards an April 2024 release for $140. In the meantime, enjoy official images below.
