The Nike LeBron 21 “James Gang” Goes All Red

A tribute to his family appears in a daring colorway.

The Nike LeBron 21 “James Gang” Goes All Red

The NBA Playoffs always has King James seeing red. That said, this upcoming Nike LeBron 21 should be a perfect colorway for the star Laker to rock as he begins his chase for a fifth NBA title, but there’s more of a heartfelt back-story to this rather aggressive looking release.

This upcoming May drop is the latest in the “James Gang” series of Nike LeBron footwear. While it took a brief hiatus from the signature line (it last appeared in the Nike LeBron 18), the Swoosh has gone back to this thematic by selecting a monochromatic Gym Red upper and exposed Flywire cable system with a mild contrast via the Bright Crimson on the soles. One could go as far as swapping out bright neon green laces for a bit of Reverse Grinch action, but considering the “James Gang” only appears on the stock pair, it might be better to leave them as is.

Nike Basketball retailers will stock these beginning on May 3rd for $200; see the official images just below.

The newswire’s been busy with hoops updates lately: adidas just debuted the AE1 Low, and the Air Jordan 39 has just been unveiled.
