Foot Locker stores are going to look a little different in the near future. The retail giant just debuted a refreshed layout at its Willowbrook Mall location in Wayne, NJ and plans to do the same for approximately two-thirds of Foot Locker and Kids Foot Locker locations worldwide by the end of 2025.
The new design doesn’t stray too far from Foot Locker’s current setup, but images of the Wayne location depict a somewhat elevated storefront defined by a wooden archway and floodlights. The most notable upgrades include a new section in the middle of the store for new and exclusive drops and a “Sneaker Hub” where consumers can customize laces and shop for pairs available online.
All in all, the new layout speaks to Foot Locker’s plans to improve its omnichannel marketing initiatives. In March, Foot Locker executive Peter Scaturro said that 80% of the brand’s sales occur within 10 miles of Foot Locker stores, and customers within that radius spend almost twice as much as those who live further away.
The next Foot Locker stores due for makeovers include locations in Paris, Melbourne, Delhi, and the brand’s New York City flagship in Harold Square. While it will take some time for Foot Locker to get to all of its 2,500+ shops over the next few years, don’t be surprised if your local location get a makeover in the near future. Until then, enjoy images of the brand’s refreshed Willowbrook Mall store below.
Foot Locker is also confirmed to be among the retailers to carry the Jordan 4 Military Blue on May 4th.
