Among a slew of drops centered around the 2024 Paris Olympics, Nike plans to release a pack dubbed “Olympic Nouveau Classique” (or “New Classics”) on July 12th. Naturally, the pack features classic silhouettes that are re-worked to appeal to the modern consumer, not a far cry from Nike’s current marketing strategy in general.
We covered an “Olympic” Dunk Low a few days ago, and now the Nike Blazer Low adds to the pack’s growing selection with a “Jumbo” iteration. The model alone achieves a “New Classics” look through oversized leather panels, making it a natural and worthy member of the pack. Consistent with the aforementioned “Olympic” Nike Dunk, the shoe mixes navy and gold accents atop a white leather base. The Swoosh and insoles present in navy, the latter adorned with script Nike branding to match the tongue label, both taken in metallic gold. More gold appears at the heel over grey suede to complete the design’s “Nouveau Classique” hallmarks, while a cut tongue and oversized laces round out the look up top.
Enjoy official images below and mark your calendar for the shoe’s release on July 12th, just a few weeks before opening ceremony festivities kick off.
