The Nike NOCTA Hot Step 2 “White” arrives tomorrow via SNKRS and select retailers like Concepts and Sneaker Politics. Carrying a $200 retail price, the shoes will be available in full men’s sizing. This wide release follows a midnight release via NOCTA.com on May 7th, and zooming out, serves as the second drop for the model after it debuted with the “Total Orange” pair at the start of the month. The combination of pure white and chrome featured in this colorway is an overriding theme that’s marked previous Drake shoes like the NOCTA Glide and original Hot Step. In the wake of the latest flare-up in Drake v. Kendrick Lamar, all eyes are on Drizzy once again. In our world, though, rap beef comes second. The Nike NOCTA Hot Step 2 got its official debut at the top of April to serious acclaim, and now, its next colorway is right around the corner.

“White/Chrome” is the chosen palette for the follow-up edition, reprising a colorway that we last saw on one of the final colorways for the Nike NOCTA Glide. Zooming out, “Triple White” with neon accents has served as a constant aesthetic through-line across all Drake shoes, with the Zoom Drive and original Hot Step each minting similar arrangements.

Back to the shoes at hand, the pure white treatment dips the entire shoe in the snowy shade, with slight “Chrome” detailing in indentations towards the quarter and in the midsole. makes its introduction on the outsole, peeking out in the static profile at the very front and back of the shoe. It paints the trademark NOCTA traction crosses, adding a bit of pop for those with a keen eye. Generally speaking, this holds onto the near-monochromatic look of the original Hot Step 2, but presents a much more easily worn edition of the latest Drizzy signature.

The Nike NOCTA Hot Step 2 “White” drops on May 9th, carrying the same $200 price tag as its predecessor. Select retailers are expected to receive stock alongside a wide SNKRS launch.
