The Nike Air Huarache Runner Embraces More Contemporary Colors

The Nike Air Huarache Runner Embraces More Contemporary Colors

Nike slowed the pace of Air Huarache releases at the end of 2023 and shifted focus to the Air Huarache Runner, the slimmer sibling of Tinker Hatfield’s original 1991-born design. It’s yet to enter mainstream consciousness, but given the cult following of its predecessor, the Huarache Runner isn’t without potential.

Surprisingly, most Huarache Runner colorways released since the model’s mid-2023 debut have centered around contemporary colors, quite a departure from the colorful 90s-era palettes that regularly graced the original silhouette. This latest pair continues that theme, complete with a “Coconut Milk” base, “Light Smoke Grey” overlays, and tan quarter panel and heel cage. Like all releases to date, the upper is comprised of the same mesh, suede, and leather build. Underfoot, a white midsole and gum outsoles round out the delivery.

Look for pairs to hit retailers in Fall 2024 for $140, and in the meantime, enjoy official images below.
