The Nike Blazer‘s unabashed retro stylings has made it an enduring staple of street style and everyday wardrobes for more than 40 years. Though much of its original composition is intact on modern releases, ’77 editions all the way back to the beginning, and the latest edition follows that lead, grafting sprightly “Russet Orange” onto that framework.
The main differing touches are seen at the forefoot and heel, the former reducing the height of suede mudguard swatches and the latter showcasing retro Blue Ribbon Sports era typeface for the Nike branding. On this specific pair, both of those sections are secondary; the main attraction is the fuzzy long-haired suede that overtakes the upper. With the release of this pair likely coming at the cusp of Summer/Fall, it’s equally fit for warm weather wardrobes and for outfits as the autumn approaches.
The Nike Blazer Low ’77 Vintage “Russet Orange” is expected to land this Fall with a $100 retail price. Enjoy official images just ahead.
Elsewhere out of Beaverton, the Nike KD 17 “Producer Pack” lands on June 14th, minting dedicated editions for Metro Boomin, The Alchemist and Bink!.
