Sneaker News Like many collectible-based hobbies, sports cards saw a massive boom in popularity and financial interest during the pandemic years, projected to grow to an astounding $20 billion by 2023. And although the market has deflated a bit, the community is still strong as ever as the dream of pulling an insanely rare, let alone the 1-of-1 card, continues on.
Reebok bridged the gap between kicks and cards back in 2022 with their first-ever collaboration with Panini America. Centered around Allen Iverson, one of the most coveted athletes in history, the two brands created a four-pack of Reebok Questions reflecting the assorted tiers of Prizm with varying quantities. Launching in 2012, Panini’s Prizm is among the most visually stunning cards on the market.
For 2024, the focus is on the NFL and one of the all-time greats: Emmitt Smith. Three different shoes will be available, each inspired by a unique Prizm card. The ES22 “Color Blast” features a near all-white colorway with icy soles and the striking hologram hitting the Reebok logo. The Preseason 94 “Gold Prizm” features the mid-90s trainer doused in a gilded upper. Finally, the Preseason 94 Low “Purple Prizm” showcases the signature shade with its own sweet accents.
