The Nike Pegasus 2K5 is a sleeper pick when it comes to flushing out your summer sneaker rotation. Armed with a trendy aesthetic and breathable mesh base, the 2005 tech-runner has released in several widely available styles since re-emerging from the archives earlier this year.

This latest pair doesn’t scream “Y2K” like many of its colorful counterparts, including a recently surfaced “Chrome” colorway, but opts for “Light Pumice” and “Dark Smoke Grey” leather overlays across the upper. A “Sanddrift” midsole and “Metallic Silver” piping around the Swoosh add some intrigue, but all things considered, the contemporary palette on display here doesn’t really align with 2000s hallmarks at all. Whether that’s a good or bad thing is subjective, but as it stands, the delivery is somewhat of an anomaly among Pegasus 2K5 drops in 2024 thus far.

In any case, fans of the Pegasus 2K5 “Light Pumice/Dark Smoke Grey/Metallic Silver/Sanddrift” can expect pairs to hit shelves in Fall 2024 for $150. Scroll through official images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more Nike drops.
