The Nike ACG Torre Mid Cleans Up In “Light Orewood Brown”

The boot style opts for a staid, clean colorway.

The Nike ACG Torre Mid Cleans Up In “Light Orewood Brown”

While Nike ACG has always had a strong cult following, fans of the line haven’t always been as well attended to as in recent years. The models that have returned this year include the ACG Rufus, ACG Exploraid and ACG Torre, the latter hiking boot style now emerging in a classic combo of navy & beige.

Shaggy off-white suede up top is met by deep navy mesh underneath to set up the base of this shoe. From there, notes of grey and black appear on the edges, especially stark on the contrast midsole and the embroidered Swoosh atop the quarter panel. True ACG heads may be a bit disheartened that this isn’t an expression of the wonky color combos that marked the 90s output, but allows expressive design choices like the geometric print pull tab and wavy side panels to shine that much more. All told, if you’re rocking the Torre Mid for its intended trail purpose, this colorway will be a perfect match for any outdoorsy outfit.

As a true GR, the Nike ACG Torre “Light Orewood Brown” will land in the coming weeks, rather than on a set release date. Enjoy official retailer images ahead.
