Andrew Rizzo Thankfully for BAPE and its customer base, the pace of new SK8 STA releases hasn’t slowed at all since the brand settled a patent infringement case with Nike earlier this year.
We’re still waiting to see necessary changes to the model as a result of that agreement, new colorways of the soon-to-be “old” version keep on surfacing. Most deliveries come in bundles of two, including this “Outdoor Pack” dropping June 29th.
Multi-color rope laces and mud-splattered soles warrant the unofficial nickname, delivering outdoor shoe hallmarks to the skate niche. While joined by those features and a consistent use of nubuck and suede, the two colorways come armed with entirely different palettes. The brown, more earthy pair of the duo works in a purple star logo with chalked magenta edges, while its counterpart revolves around a more flashy blue and red mix.
