Lewis Hamilton, the most decorated Formula 1 driver of all time, and Dior just announced a new Brand Ambassador partnership. A longtime friend of Dior creative director Kim Jones, Hamilton’s now formalized relationship with the brand is said to deliver a slate of footwear and apparel, beginning with two co-designed sneaker models.
While one might assume the collection consists of performance driving shoes akin Hamilton’s Puma sneakers, both of the new models actually derive from skiwear aesthetics. Fittingly, the duo includes a “Snow Sneaker” inspired by mountain boots alongside another new model dubbed the “B44 Blade LH” after the driver’s car number and initials.
Release information for the Lewis Hamilton x Dior footwear capsule hasn’t been made public at the time of this writing, but the shoes could release as part of Dior’s Fall/Winter lineup later on in the year. For now, enjoy detailed images of both new models and their respective colorways below.
