Nike Reverses The OG Grey Gradient On The Air Max 95

Slight changes to the OG for this kids' exclusive.

Nike Reverses The OG Grey Gradient On The Air Max 95

The Nike Air Max 95 has had a relatively quiet year, ceding space to newer spotlight formulations like the Air Max Dn or still-inescapable classics like the Air Max 1. Fans of the silhouette will assuredly have their patience rewarded in 2025 when Beaverton celebrates the silo’s 30th anniversary (the Nike SB Air Max 95 a piece tipped off well beforehand.) However, some scattered drops here and there are ensuring devotees of the Sergio Lozano design don’t go entirely unfed, like with the GS Air Max 95 featured here.

As promised in our title, the beloved OG “Gradient Colorway” lights the way on this drop, though the rib-inspired waves on the upper work in the opposite direction, beginning light at the sole before working up and getting progressively darker. While much of the layout here remains true to the classic version, the kids’ sizing change necessitates some youthful tweaks, largely accomplished by sneaking in “Mint Green” hits at the lace loops, visible Air units and the embroidered Swoosh towards the heel.

The Nike Air Max 95 “Reverse Grey Gradient” is expected to hit Nike.com and select retailers in the short term. While retail pricing isn’t totally concrete at this stage, similar releases have hovered around the $145 mark.
