The Nike GT Cut Cross Surfaces In “Arctic Orange”

Another fresh colorway joins the rollout selection.

The Nike GT Cut Cross Surfaces In “Arctic Orange”

As Nike Basketball’s “Greater Than” series continues to grow in popularity, the price of next generation tentpole models like the GT Cut 3 has become unrealistic for many. Not to worry though, because the Beaverton brand has simultaneously introduced new budget-friendly hoops shoes that feature many of the same desired qualities.

Appealing to guards in particular, the Zoom GT Cut Cross is a bargain at $110. The new model was first spotted in May and has since re-surfaced in several different colorways for Fall 2024, with this “Arctic Orange/Teal” edition being the latest. While the Cut Cross shares a sole with another another cost-conscious option in the GT Cut Academy, it’s best compared to the GT Cut 3 as its namesake might suggest. Joined by a focus on stability for crossover moves, the FlyWire tech of the Cut 3 is here replaced by swatches of TPU that are intended to serve the same purpose.

This most recent pair comes with a teal forefoot and “Arctic Orange” hits throughout, most of which are confined to the medial side. The lining, heel, and various underlays provide an agreeable canvas in off-white, while all the Swoosh logos appear in black.

We’re still waiting on US release dates for every GT Cut Cross previewed thus far, so return periodically to our Sneaker Release Dates page while we populate all the latest info as it comes in. In the meanwhile, take a gander at the “Arctic Orange/Teal” colorway below.
