“Bicoastal” Jolts The Latest Nike Air Pegasus 2k5

An aquatic twist on this tech runner release.

“Bicoastal” Jolts The Latest Nike Air Pegasus 2k5

While Beaverton announced plans to iterate on the Nike Air Pegasus 2k5 with the Pegasus Wave, the retro silhouette still has plenty of room for development in its renewed run. Melding two aesthetic worlds, the Nike Air Pegasus 2k5 “Bicoastal” showcases exactly that, adding some naturalistic energy for the model’s latest drop.

An upper/lower split is the foremost design choice on this release, pinning aquamarine “Bicoastal” tones famously seen on the Nike Kobe 4 “Girl Dad” below your typical chromed-out accents that define most tech runners of its kind. Notes of jet black throughout on the sockliner and crossing toe-box overlays maintain a classic atmosphere, starkly contrasting the aforementioned vibrant colors. Speaking generally, the Pegasus 2k5 hasn’t released in 2024 to total acclaim, but there’s a chance that delinating more techy colorways for the Wave retooling while allowing vintage sensibility to shine through on the Peg proper could clarify the shoe’s retro run going forward.

The Nike Air Pegasus 2k5 “Bicoastal” releases this Fall, retailing for $150. Catch official images ahead while we await further release details.
