The Nike Field General 82 Surfaces For Eagles And Jets Fans

With the 2024 NFL season just weeks away, all eyes are on the pre-season phase as fantasy draft orders continue to be established. If you’re concerned about the fashionable side of the game, look no further than the revived Nike Field General ’82, a silhouette that is attempting to capture the footwear lifestyle crowd.

Aiming to appeal to those who prefer the slimmer, low-profile look popularized by the adidas Samba, Nike has turned to the grid-iron to appeal to that demand. Despite returning earlier this year in its original colorway and collaborations with UNION adding some of that co-sign cred, the Field General still has several yards ahead of it if it truly wants to score in an impactful way. Despite the clean look, simple colorway, and approachable $100 price-point the FG82 hasn’t quite cracked that code. Right now, that trend is adidas’ to keep, although we’re sure Nike has some tricks up its sleeve to further appear to the younger generation.

If you’re simply about repping your team colors (whether it be the Super Bowl contending Eagles or the lovable loser Jets), this new white/green colorway is set to hit SNKRS on August 29th.
