The Nike Zoom GT Cut Cross Is Thinking Pink

The budget-minded $110 model is doused in pink hues.

The Nike Zoom GT Cut Cross Is Thinking Pink

Off the success of the GT Series, Nike Basketball expanded the Greater Than series with budget-minded offspring that captures the principles of each model, but at a lower price-point. Silhouettes like the GT Cut Academy offers similar performance support for those who dice through the lane, while the GT Hustle Academy provides a do-it-all package at roughly half the cost.

The GT Cut Cross is somewhat of a blend of the two models; specifically tuned for players who like to create space via step-backs and backdoor cuts, the Cut Cross is primarily supported by a forefoot Zoom Air unit and a herringbone traction that grips the hardwood as good as the parent model. The midsole is also stacked with two foams for the utmost in comfort, and what Nike has accomplished is top level performance at a very affordable $110 price-point.

The latest colorway to come out of the Cut Cross pipeline is one that’s been close to the Nike Basketball family for well over a decade. Falling in line with the “Think Pink” releases and Player Exclusives, this upcomnig release sees a gradient of light purple to pink shades across the entire body of the shoes, broken only by the black Swoosh and tongue logos. While these are not officially associated with any awareness-oriented charities, one can rep the movement with these on feet.

Nike.com will release this Cut Cross soon; see the official images ahead.
