After making its debut in the 2024 Paris Olympics, breakdancing will not return for the 2028 games in Los Angeles. But even though the event was a one-and-done, Nike isn’t about to shelve its new breakdancing shoe so soon after its Summer 2024 arrival. At least for now, it appears more Nike Jam colorways are en route.

While it might be a deep cut, this latest pair takes after the Nike Air Max 96 II “Goldenrod” with a like-minded Michigan-esque palette of “White/Midnight Navy/University Gold.” Familiar colors heightens focus on the similar design language between the two models, carried predominantly by the Jam’s sharp back-pointing leather overlays and reflective stripe underlays that grace the lateral and medial sides. A “Sesame” midsole diverges from the sporty essence of the top half, complete with an upside-down Swoosh logo on the center portion; the model’s hallmark feature.

These are expected to crop up via Nike and retailers during the Fall/Holiday 2024 shopping season for $120 in women’s sizing. If you’re an Air Max 96 II fan and need something to hold you over given that model’s current absence, this isn’t a bad way to go.
