Whether you’re a sneaker purist or have a place in your heart for experimental shoes, there’s no denying the full court press that Nike has put behind the Nike Air Max 90 LV8. Beaverton’s current platform model de jour, the AM90 LV8 is dredging up one of the most reliable Nike colorways for its latest look.

“Triple Black” aesthetics dominate this pair, turning down the lights across the plush mudguard, synthetic forefoot panels and of course, the double stacked Air unit in the midsole. Always a steady complement to this sort of look, a gum sole lands underfoot, imbuing a bit of classy style and Nike SB-esque sensibility onto a shoe that comes out of a decidedly modern school of thought.

The Nike Air Max 90 LV8, a women’s exclusive model in all its colorways, releases in this “Black/Gum” colorway this Fall. Expect a $150 price tag upon arrival- until then, enjoy official images via the gallery included below.
