The colorway isn’t revolutionary here- as one of a few women’s exclusive pairs of the RM, Beaverton dips into pretty standard territory for a mix of lush pink on the upper on off-white underfoot. The Nike Air patch at the very heel deviates a tad bit, printing that emblem in a blush off-white hue that bridges the gap between the two-tone arrangement on display elsewhere.
However, recent releases for the Air Jordan 4 showcase that it’s not always the off-the-wall looks that succeed. Pairs like the Air Jordan 4 “White Thunder” and Jordan 4 “Wet Cement” were instant sell-outs while maintaining conservative color-blocking. With this cleaned-up pair, it appears Jordan Brand is taking the same approach with the RestoMod, opting for understated outfits and letting the reimagined construction of the AJ4 speak for itself.
