The Air Jordan 4 RM has been a constant storyline through the latter part of 2024. After a dense narrative effort around two Nigel Sylvester collabs, the model finally made its way to the public with three colorways on the same day (“Oxidized Green,” “Light Bone” & “Light Legend Brown” are all in stores now.) However, the push for the RestoMod marches on, and plans for the model continue to emerge with looks at editions like the “Pink Oxford” we’ve got on tap here.
The colorway isn’t revolutionary here- as one of a few women’s exclusive pairs of the RM, Beaverton dips into pretty standard territory for a mix of lush pink on the upper on off-white underfoot. The Nike Air patch at the very heel deviates a tad bit, printing that emblem in a blush off-white hue that bridges the gap between the two-tone arrangement on display elsewhere.
However, recent releases for the Air Jordan 4 showcase that it’s not always the off-the-wall looks that succeed. Pairs like the Air Jordan 4 “White Thunder” and Jordan 4 “Wet Cement” were instant sell-outs while maintaining conservative color-blocking. With this cleaned-up pair, it appears Jordan Brand is taking the same approach with the RestoMod, opting for understated outfits and letting the reimagined construction of the AJ4 speak for itself.
The Air Jordan 4 RM in “Pink Oxford” drops this Fall exclusively in women’s sizing, carrying the same $150 price point as previous RM drops. Head just ahead for direct shopping links once these hit shelves and a closer look at what to expect in-hand.
