Andrew Rizzo Just when it seemed Nike fully moved on from Tom Sachs with the Nike C1TY, a shoe that can be likened to “Tom Sachs at home,” the two parties announced that they will resume their partnership in 2025. Thus, the Nike C1TY will exist as a supplement to Tom Sachs shoes as opposed to a replacement as previously thought.
Specific details regarding the Tom Sachs x Nike ramp-up aren’t available yet (the Mars Yard 3.0 is currently being wear-tested), but Nike is coming out with a huge lineup of C1TYs to hold us over in the meantime. Opinions are subjective of course, but this new “Medium Olive” colorway might just be the best of the bunch. Surfacing right on time for fall, the upper comes doused in the titular hue while black treatments touch up the Swoosh and midsole.
