Could This Be The adidas Anthony Edwards 1 Low For Christmas 2024?

Initial reports point to a Holiday release.

Could This Be The adidas Anthony Edwards 1 Low For Christmas 2024?

Though there have been some major on-court shakeups in Anthony Edwards’ world, the success of his signature line has remained metronome-like. A consistent stream of new looks hitting the market and leaked colorways hitting the ‘net has ensured that the heat around his first signature shoe continues through the end of the year. Speaking of, with the Holiday season quickly approaching and brands beginning to chart out which kicks will be in the spotlight, the Anthony Edwards 1 Low might be factoring into adidas’ plans.

First-look images of a never-before-seen black and blue edition of Ant’s shoe have surfaced, maintaining the two-tone color-blocking that’s defined the model throughout 2024. The icy honeycomb siding makes these a match for winter, and for Edwards specifically, it aligns well with the Wolves’ stealthy Home jerseys. However, the simplistic palette here instead makes the branding the main attraction. Rather than the sharp AE logo that paints most releases, this instead colorway rocks a cursive counterpart, resembling the primary logo for the superstar’s “Anthony Edwards Five” 3 Stripes Basketball program.

Finally, it’s worth noting the resemblance between this edition and the Anthony Edwards 1 Low “Christmas” sample that hit the newswire back in September. Both were reported as potential Christmas pairs; this exact colorway was even posted at the tail end of the leaker’s initial post. It’s currently unclear what, if any, connection the two shoes share, but official word of what pair of AE1s will be coming your way this Christmas can’t be too far off.

For now, we’re projecting the Anthony Edwards 1 Low “Black/Blue” to release as we close out 2024. Expect the typical $110 retail price.
