LeBron James’ I Promise School Gets Its Own Nike LeBron Sneaker Release

Melting Swoosh logos add youthful spirit.

LeBron James’ I Promise School Gets Its Own Nike LeBron Sneaker Release

Being a pupil of LeBron James has its perks. Ever since his family foundation opened Akron’s “I Promise” elementary school in 2018, students have been able to count on special sneaker deliveries from the king himself as well as public releases crafted in the school’s name. The next “I Promise” shoe on tap highlights the Nike LeBron Witness 8, shown here via official images.

While currently being touted in adult sizing, the design itself features a youthful spirit through a balanced, multi-color mix. The key feature to note here is the Swoosh. Differing from the usual underlay branding that appears through the mesh layer, Nike stamps the quarter with a melting blue and pink TPU logo. Further amplifying a cotton candy vibe, the lateral paneling features light cyan while the medial side and toe box opt for a darker, navy shade. The lining and crown logo underfoot both come in orange, the midsole gets painted in light green, and the outsole offers another instance of navy.

The LeBron Witness 8 “I Promise” is already available in Canada and is expected to release in the US in short order. Expect a retail price of $100 upon arrival.
