No need to say it again, but here it is: Devin Booker is absolutely smashing the PE game. From his ’96 All-Star pair last season to the most recent “USC Trojans” he rocked opening night, his rotation of exclusives have been keeping the Nike Book 1 in the headlines in between the retail drops. Tonight, he wore what is easily in the upper echelon of concepts.

Inspired by his Nike Zoom Kobe 1 Protro PE from 2018, the Book 1 emerges in a quintessential Phoenix Suns colorway dressed in a full patent leather upper in purple with a bright orange Swoosh logo.

Kobe Bryant hand-selected every player to ever receive a PE, and Booker was one of three players to get that rarified honor (the other two being Demar DeRozan and Isaiah Thomas). Only a limited number of pairs have ever made it to public; Booker gifted one to PJ Tucker and Kelly Oubre Jr., former teammates of the signature athlete.
