Cecilie Bahnsen Adds Flowers To The ASICS GEL-Terrain

Pre-launching on October 31st.

Cecilie Bahnsen Adds Flowers To The ASICS GEL-Terrain

At a time when functional fashion has never been a bigger priority, Cecilie Bahnsen’s ASICS collaborations have been highly celebrated. While the Copenhagen-based designer set a high bar with her inaugural GEL-NYC project back in 2022, her GT-2160s from this past July marked another big win, commanding attention from the chic sneaker crowd and fetching considerable resale prices. If you tried and failed to cop previous Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS shoes, you’ll be happy to hear she’s releasing a GEL-Terrain trio that shares a key quality with her most prized projects.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Cecilie Bahnsen’s GEL-Terrain capsule plays off the floral motif utilized across her ASICS catalog thus far, with protruding flowers affixed onto three monotone options. The first of the bunch keeps things conservative in black, while another speaks to the GEL-Terrain’s utility with an earthy tan hue. Bahnsen and ASICS have also prepared an all-red colorway that will drop exclusively via Dover Street Market a day before the global release.

The Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS GEL-Terrain pre-launches via Dover Street Market (online and in-person) on October 31st before releasing globally on November 1st. As mentioned, the all-red colorway will only be available via DSM. Budget for an MSRP of £225 per pair if you’re set on copping a pair.
