Jordan Brand Keeps The Legacy 312 Low “Panda” Just For Women

Jordan’s off-the-court and hybrid models are always a divisive proposition, panned among the purists yet still widely adopted amongst those who aren’t as hardline about Mike’s on-foot legacy. Regardless of how hardcore devotees may feel about it, Jordan Brand has continued to introduce new members to that vertical and innovate on already established ones, highlighted by the Jordan Legacy 312 Low, a recut of the Don C silhouette first released in 2018.

Now, a hot-button colorway makes its way to the model with the Legacy 312 Low “Panda.” Of course, it relies on the same black and white script that’s lent its name to models across the Beaverton catalog, particularly eye-catching overtaking the elephant print panels at the toe and heel.

However, distinct editions of the shoe’s composite models stand as closer comps than the infamous Dunk Low; those patterned sections and a slightly off-white sole run parallel to the Jordan 3 “Cement Grey,” while the white collar and black liner harken to the Air Jordan 1 “Black/White.” Venturing further into the Jumpman archive, the shoe presents some similar DNA to the beloved Jordan 4 “Military Black.” Whether this pair is able to scratch the same itch as a pair you missed out on or not; there’s no denying the everyday wearability on display with this colorway.

The Jordan Legacy 312 Low “Panda” should hit Nike.com in short order — anticipate a $145 retail price upon arrival. As mentioned above, this colorway is expected to only be available in women’s sizing. Keep an eye on our Jordan Release Dates page in the coming weeks to be the first to know when these land on shelves.
