Matt Varga A Ma Maniere’s “While You Were Sleeping” is unquestionably the most extensive collab capsule of the year and Beaverton’s biggest co-branded undertaking since the seminal “The Ten” with Virgil Abloh’s Off-White. After taking on the Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 39, Air Jordan 4, Air Max 95 and Air Force 1, a third footwear giant is entering the mix with the A Ma Maniere Converse Weapon.
The uniting theme across all six pieces reappears on the revitalized lifestyle model, AMM’s trademark rosy colorway. “Light Mauve” and “Sail” take over the top notes, with a deeper “Mauve” draping the laces, outsole, and another calling card, a plush, quilted sock-liner. As each of the steps in the “While You Were Sleeping” collection has, the Converse Weapon releases alongside an apparel collection, this time a cozy capsule containing hoodie, tee, sweatpant, anorak, and quilted jacket styles.
The EQL launch for the A Ma Maniere Converse Weapon “While You Were Sleeping” is open now, with a broader launch via A Ma Maniere and their associated stores set for December 4th. The brand notes that they are “prioritizing raffle entries” for this drop, meaning a full-size run is not guaranteed to be available on that release date. No matter how you snag them, expect a $130 retail price.
