Representative of the new era for the Kings, “The Beam” now stands as a venerated Sacramento tradition, so it’s only fitting that the first Sactown-centric edition of the Fox 1 takes on its narrative. Hi-vis neon green trim dots around a purple-heavy application on the upper, blending lilac accent tones with the trademark regal amethyst seen throughout the Kings’ history.

The shoe features a holiday-relevant mix of green shades, with the upper coming decked out in dark pine across its mesh, synthetic, and leather portions. A gold pattern spreads onto the lace strap and heel, matched by multi-color laces and a gold tongue logo. Colorway aside, the US Curry Fox 1 features several clever qualities inspired by foxes. De’Aaron’s signature logo incorporates a fox, the number 5, and the letter “D” in one stroke, while the end of the lace strap is made to look like a fox tail.

Curry Fox 1 “Happy Fox Day”
Throughout the rollout for the Fox 1, Under Armour has consistently emphasized a “runner style” construction for the inaugural De’Aaron Fox shoes, built to support the game-breaking speed the star PG has majored in throughout his career. Consistent with that, the model employs a highly sporty build, with a flush mesh and synthetic composition and Flow cushioning underfoot. Perhaps the foremost aesthetic aspect is the midfoot strap, ensuring uncompromising lockdown while carrying a playful tie to its namesake, thinning out into a “foxtail” iridescent tip.
The “Happy Fox” day colorway executes a baby blue monochrome makeover on the upper, injecting some flash in the margins with a regal outfit for the strap and some closing details at the heel. It’s a holiday-themed look that alludes to Fox’s connection to the season, a sentimental narrative perfect for the public’s introduction to De’Aaron Fox shoes.
