Fresh Look At The Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” For 2025

It’s a radically different sneaker landscape in 2024 than in 2012 — overnight campouts and EQL launches read as just as incompatible as dad shoes and basketball kicks as casual wear. Nonetheless, one of the defining shoes from the 2010s and the height of the FCFS era is returning in 2025, the retro of the Galaxy Foams fulfilling a spate of “grail” level pairs returning in the new year. As the shoe’s February release date nears closer, we’re getting our best look yet at what we’ll all be vying to get our hands on in the new year.

Consistent with our first in-hand looks, the original interstellar print remains intact, as does the translucent glow-in-the-dark sole. Black trim down the collar and laces ensure a grounded feel, but the out-of-this-world patterning that made this shoe something you’d trade your car for at the time of its original release is untouched for 2025. While the “Remove Before Flight” hangtag is absent from these shots, a one-to-one retro is clearly the intention whether or not that peripheral detail comes with the revitalized pair.

The Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” is still roundly expected to release for NBA All-Star Weekend, placing this pair sometime in mid-February. Check out additional images included below and watch our Sneaker Release Dates page for further updates.
