Andrew Rizzo Nike is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a huge variety of holiday-inspired releases. We’ve spilled ink on over fifteen different lovey dovey options by the Swoosh thus far, and that’s not even including several pairs by Converse and the “Valentine” Jordan 3; the crown jewel of the Beaverton company’s Valentine’s Day efforts in 2025. With February 14th coming closer into focus by the day, we’ve now uncovered an upcoming Field General featuring some clever holiday touches.
The headlining quality presents itself on the tongue tag and insoles, where Nike says “You Are The Apple Of My Eye” through red apple graphics featuring heart cutouts. A soft pink heart charm appears on the lace loop, while wide multicolor laces embrace a variety of purple tones. The tongue tag kicks off a slew of texture swaps with piled chenille fabric, and the Swoosh comes with a thickly stitched border for an even more plush look and feel. Light purple hairy suede makes up the outermost paneling, while grey nubuck rounds out the top half across the base. Last but not least, a dark grey sole featuring turf tread caps off the delivery underfoot.
