adidas Rolls Out A Girls’ Samba For Valentine’s Day

Among many competing storylines, Valentine’s Day shoes have become a dominant story in the early goings of 2025; brands everywhere reorienting to land in time for the first big consumer holiday on the calendar. The adidas Samba is the latest to get in on the action, quietly letting loose a “Valentine’s Day” Grade School tribute via select retailers.

As seen on the Valentine’s Day Sambae, adidas’ odes to the holiday continue to center around heart-shaped cut out in the Three Stripes branding, alternating in orientation with dots in between to hint at delicate embroidery. Inside you get another dose of lovey-dovey design; white and red heart print cover the insoles. Moving onto the shoe’s overall layout and away from the finer details, you expectedly get a dose of deep reds coating the shoe, as bright red sits juxtaposed to deeper wine tones on the suede T-toe and leather lining. In trademark fashion, an earthy gum sole rounds out the composition underfoot.

All told, while this Valentine’s Day Samba may not totally reinvent the wheel, the subtle accenting keeps things on a low-key note that should dovetail well into year-round wear, not just around February 14th. As hinted at in the open, the adidas Samba “Valentine’s Day” has already dropped via Foot Locker, up for grabs in grade school sizing for just $80.
