“University Red” Gradients Define This Imposing Nike Shox TL

Villainous aesthetics for the retro model.

“University Red” Gradients Define This Imposing Nike Shox TL

The Nike Shox TL isn’t going anywhere. After the Shox movement truly kicked back into high gear in 2024 with the retro of the Shox Ride 2 and Shox R4 marching on, new looks for the silhouette at hand confirm that the Swoosh’s efforts to spark a renaissance for spring-loaded cushioning are alive and well. Next up? A “University Red” do-up, hitting shelves this season.

As the model is want to do, the Shox TL carries jet black trim for this pair, but its the section between that should really draw your eye. Opposing ombres, working from black to red and the bottom on the sidewalls before reversing course up the TPU cages. Though this is far from the first gradient look for the Shox TL, each have tended towards the soothing side of things — there’s no denying the menace that the “University Red” palette brings to this edition.

The Nike Shox TL “University Red” is expected to land Spring 2025, retailing for $170 once it does. Check out detailed images ahead to get a sense of what this pair has to offer.
