Releasing January 30th in four colorways.

The Vans Old Skool 36+ Reimagines A Skateboarding Icon

They don’t get much more legendary than the Vans Old Skool. Originally dubbed the Style #36, the second ever skate shoe by Southern California’s Van Doren Rubber Company was the first to feature the iconic sidestripe, eventually transcending its skateboarding roots and becoming a fixture in a whole slew of additional subcultures. Continuing to innovate while also staying true to its DNA, Vans is ready to unleash a new style dubbed the Skate Old Skool 36+.

Key changes include a padded tongue and shorter toe cap, making for a more durable, comfortable wear. DURACAP technology adds protection to high-wear areas, SICKSTICK outsoles produce excellent grip, and POPCUSH insoles enhance impact protection and energy return. The model also features a piled fabric sock liner, added pull tabs on the tongue and heel, and metallic eyelets for an even more premium appearance.

Four colorways are set to debut on January 30th, 2025; black, black/blue, white, and black/green. Vans is marking the occasion by also releasing a limited apparel capsule, all of which will be available via vans.com on that date. See detailed images of all four colorways below if you’re considering copping.
